Stop Me Terms & Conditions

The terms for using Stop Me and the optional Stop Me Plus subscription.

Effective date: July 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 29, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your download, access, and use of the Stop Me Android application (the "App"), package name com.khueon.stopme. The App is provided by Khueon Studios ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

You may not use the App where its use would violate applicable law.

2. What Stop Me does

Stop Me is a productivity tool intended to help you pause before opening apps you select, remember your purpose, choose whether to continue, and review on-device insights about those decisions.

Stop Me is not a medical device, healthcare service, emergency service, parental-control product, security product, or guaranteed app-blocking system. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control for personal, lawful purposes.

The App is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted by these Terms.

4. AccessibilityService

Stop Me's core launch-detection feature uses Android AccessibilityService. The App presents an in-app disclosure before directing you to Android Settings. You decide whether to enable the service and may disable it at any time.

When enabled, Stop Me receives the package name of the foreground app and compares it with the apps you selected. The service is not configured to retrieve screen content and is not intended to read messages, passwords, keystrokes, or taps.

You are responsible for:

  • enabling the service only on a device you are authorized to control;
  • reviewing Android's system disclosure before granting access;
  • keeping an appropriate emergency or alternative way to access important apps; and
  • disabling the service if you no longer want launch detection.

Android, device manufacturers, battery-management systems, and other apps may affect whether launch detection works consistently.

5. Free features and Stop Me Plus

The App may provide a free plan and an optional paid membership called Stop Me Plus. The free plan remains available without a subscription, subject to the limits shown in the App.

Stop Me Plus currently provides expanded features such as unlimited protected apps and complete insights. The exact features included in each plan are shown in the App before purchase.

We may improve, replace, or discontinue features for valid reasons such as security, legal compliance, technical limitations, service sustainability, or product development. We will not intentionally misrepresent paid benefits. If a material change affects an active subscription, we will provide notice and any remedy required by applicable law.

6. Auto-renewing subscriptions

Stop Me Plus may be offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions through Google Play.

Purchase and renewal

  • The localized price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer are displayed before you confirm the purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Google Play account after confirmation.
  • Unless canceled, a monthly subscription renews monthly and a yearly subscription renews yearly.
  • Google Play charges the then-applicable renewal price according to its terms.
  • A subscription is optional; you may continue using the available free plan.

Trials and promotional offers

If a trial or introductory offer is available, its duration, eligibility, initial price, post-offer price, and renewal terms will be displayed before purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial or offer ends, the subscription automatically converts to the paid plan shown in the purchase flow.

Cancellation

You can manage or cancel a subscription using the link provided in Stop Me's settings or through Google Play:

Google Play Subscriptions

Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the next charge. Unless applicable law or Google Play provides otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you retain paid access until then. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Google Play processes purchases and refund requests under its policies and applicable law. Except where required by law or provided by Google Play, payments are non-refundable and no credit is provided for a partially used billing period.

Restoring purchases

The App provides a restore-purchases function. Restoration depends on the Google Play account used for the original purchase, store availability, and successful entitlement verification.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices for valid reasons, including changes in features, operating costs, taxes, exchange rates, inflation, or market conditions. Google Play or we will provide advance notice where required and obtain your agreement when applicable. You may cancel before a new price takes effect.

7. Privacy

Our collection and handling of information is described in the Stop Me Privacy Policy.

By using the App, you acknowledge that Google Play and RevenueCat process subscription information under their own terms and policies.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App unlawfully or to violate another person's rights;
  • use the App to monitor or control a device without the device owner's knowledge and authorization;
  • attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with purchase verification, licensing, security, or subscription controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits;
  • copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission;
  • introduce malware or interfere with the operation of the App or related services; or
  • misrepresent your identity or purchase status when requesting support.

9. Your device and data

You are responsible for your device, Android account, device security, and any content you enter into the App. Most attention-related data is stored only on your device. We generally cannot recover local data after it is cleared, lost, or deleted.

You should not enter sensitive personal information into custom purposes or reminders unless you are comfortable storing it locally on your device.

10. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, software, branding, graphics, text, and other materials supplied by us, is owned by or licensed to the Developer and protected by intellectual-property laws.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback to improve and promote the App without an obligation to compensate you. This does not transfer ownership of your personal information.

11. Third-party services

The App relies on or links to third-party services including Android, Google Play, and RevenueCat. Their availability and operation are outside our complete control and are governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

12. Availability and updates

We aim to provide a reliable App but do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or able to intercept every selected app launch.

We may release updates to improve performance, security, compatibility, or features. Some updates may be required for continued use, purchase verification, or compliance with Google Play requirements.

13. Important safety disclaimer

Stop Me is an intentional-use aid, not an absolute blocking mechanism. The App includes ways to go back or bypass an intervention and may fail to appear due to system settings, permissions, software changes, or technical errors.

Do not rely on Stop Me to prevent access where delay or failure could cause harm, including emergency communications, medical needs, safety systems, financial controls, legal obligations, or supervision of another person.

You remain responsible for your decisions and device use.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, opportunities, or device use arising from or related to the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of:

  • the amount you paid for Stop Me during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • USD 50.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the App at any time. You may separately cancel a paid subscription through Google Play.

We may suspend access to paid features or terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms, commit fraud, interfere with purchase verification, or use the App unlawfully. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Subject to mandatory consumer rights, courts located in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the App. Nothing in this section prevents you from using mandatory dispute procedures or bringing a claim in a forum available to you under applicable consumer law.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including changes to the App, subscriptions, law, security requirements, or third-party services. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required.

If a material change requires your consent, we will request it. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the App and cancel any future subscription renewals.

19. General

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the App, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the purchase terms displayed by Google Play form the agreement between you and us regarding the App.
